In recent years we have had Paul do three separate renovations to our home – a new addition, a complete kitchen remodelling and a replacement of old windows. Paul was particularly adept at coming up with practical solutions for our older home that met our budget, and he clearly explained all aspects and costs involved throughout the course of his work. ~ Grant, West Vancouver, BC

Paul Shuley and his company stick-handled a full kitchen renovation for us including removal of walls (after checking into whether it was a bearing wall for us?)… In addition he and his crew installed new hardwood floors and baseboards throughout the entire entrance-way, halls, kitchen and living room/dining room area.

We were away for a month during the renovation (on purpose) and Paul dealt with all the trades on our behalf, kept us up to date with any new recommendations and the status while we were away! He also had to deal with the Granite Counter suppliers on our behalf as they cracked the counter twice and Paul ensured the final product was perfect with no extra charges (we ended up with a seamless counter we didn’t even expect at the beginning!!)

Basically as complete lay-people in this area, we were happy to have everything handled and we only dealt with Paul directly on all matters… it was nice to have someone in charge! We were always informed as to any delays (that inevitably come up) and found he had quick access to a pool of reliable sub-trades as well. ~ Jill, Vancouver, BC

We had Shuley Contracting do a large reno on our 100 year old house on the West Side of Vancouver, Paul and his team did an excellent job bringing back its historic feel and qualities. The effort included solving the accumulated issues that come with an old house. We are very pleased with the final product and are very appreciative of all Paul’s hard work for us.

Paul is an excellent communicator with both my wife and I, and throughout the renovation we were in active discussion. He was quick to return calls, and every morning had thorough 5 am response to my 11 pm emails. Paul also had a great team working directly for him and as subcontractors. Paul and his company completed a large renovation on our family home in East Vancouver (a complete gut of the main floor and the addition of an entirely new second floor).
